Eden Hazard’s form in front of goal has been the source of much mirth this season, with the Belgian having failed to score even once in the Premier League. However, a trip to Bournemouth had the Belgian score a brace, with the first goal in the 34th minute being his first since May 2015.
Last year’s PFA player of the year has endured a miserable season, but he scored twice in 57 minutes after going 29 games without a goal; tapping home in injury time.
Predictably, Twitter used the occasion to have its fun, noting the absurdity of Hazard’s run in front of goal.
