Real Madrid destroyed Sevilla 4-1 in a crucial La Liga encounter, that keeps their advantage over Barcelona in the title race alive. Nacho opened the scoring with a controversial quick free-kick, before Ronaldo doubled their lead going into half time. Jovetic scored for Sevilla soon after second half began, but Ronaldo and Kroos scored late goals to complete the rout.
