After a frenetic finish in a strange game at Selhurst Park, Manchester United finally rolled back the years to pull out a last-gasp winner in a game where both sides got robbed by ludicrous officiating, and that on balance, United deserved to win.
This is how the Twitterati saw it –
While Pogba and Ibrahimovic had a wonderful game, Marcos Rojo had a mixed bag. He handled the immense threat of Benteke well, but his tackling still left a lot to be desired
The man speaks like he’s been summoned to the Principal’s office!
HAHAHA, Zlatan is what Zlatan is
Well, Mourinho’s comments just keep gaining traction don’t they?
How the mighty Swede has proved his doubters wrong:
Every United fan in the land -
If Mourinho is dour, Pardew is anything but –
89.6 mill for what they sang. He’s answering them all one game at a time, isn’t he?
This is so true, it hurts
The real story of the match though, were the referees. They got literally nothing right – the first United goal should have been disallowed for Zlatan hand ball and Pogba offside. United then should have had a penalty when Joe Ledley decided to punch the ball off Rojo’s forehead with his forearm. And Juan Mata’s goal was perfectly good – yet was ruled out for offside. Sigh.
Delaney be like “Ronaldinho, who?”
Meanwhile, Hello Arsenal!
