Twitter surprised by Mamadou Sakho's performance against Borussia Dortmund

Jurgen Klopp might've caught the headlines as he returned to Dortmund after guiding and coaching them for seven seasons but on the pitch, Liverpool's defence were simply incredible. Dejan Lovren didn't put a foot wrong all game as Liverpool held on for a crucial 1-1 draw at the Westfalenstadion.

However, Twitterati and critics noticed, acknowledged and applauded the performance of Frenchman Mamadou Sakho. The former Paris Saint-German man was a rock at the back constantly breaking down attacks and ensuring the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was kept quiet all game.
