#3 Ajax
The most surprising and fearless side in the competition is obviously Ajax. Led by 19-year-old Matthijs De Ligt, the Dutch side are the giant killers in the competition. Teams like Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Juventus have not managed to dominate them over two legs.
With no shortage of talents in their ranks, Ajax's football is eye pleasing for viewers and hauntingly dangerous for opponents. As evident, the youngest side in the competition can create chances at will and cover the flanks with excellent wing play which gives their rivals little chance to breathe.
Ajax's main obstacles are inexperience and their conversion ratio despite the fact that they are outscoring opponents.
#4 Tottenham
Arguably, the weakest side among the top four is Mauricio Pochettino's Tottenham. But it will only foolish to count them out or to not take them seriously. Both Borussia Dortmund and Manchester City learned it in the hard way in the knockout stages and Ajax won't make the mistake.
Without key players missing due to injuries and suspensions, Tottenham managed to play some splendid yet tactical football to beat Dortmund and Pep Guardiola's City. It is evident that they are not afraid to counter attacking teams head on and beating City which had huge depth in their ranks is a huge task for any team.
The absence of Son and Kane in their team will play a part against Ajax but Tottenham has shown they can turn the tables repeatedly this campaign. Who will bet against them after their exploits against Manchester City?
