Roberto Firmino's shot across goal: PSG are about to capsize

Liverpool fans might have been surprised to see Roberto Firmino on the bench for the much-anticipated clash against PSG. Anfield did not miss Firmino during the first half at all with goals from Milner and Sturridge. Their players performing at their level best, including Henderson, Wijnaldum and Van Dijk. Their only disappointment was Mo Salah. PSG struck back with Meunier in late first half.

Firmino came on for Sturridge in the 73rd minute. Due to Salah’s misplaced pass, Neymar managed to dribble past Liverpool and play in Mbappe as PSG squared things up at two apiece. Firmino’s shot fired across Thiago Silva and Kimpembe who were lost for movement, and it zipped past Areola into the lower right corner of the goal.

The distance of the shot, the angle, space, the time all against Firmino and he came up with the utmost brilliance to send PSG packing, without any points.
