Finalists
Although I will be rooting for defending champions Spain, a new-look squad is still finding its feet and they could falter at the semi-finals. Germany and France have arguably the best squads at the tournament and I expect them to reach the final with France to win it on home soil again.
Golden Boot
Germany's Thomas Muller loves big tournaments and I expect him to finish as the top goal scorer.

Finalists:Playing at home, France stand a very good chance of winning the Euros 2016. However, I believe that England will come out of as the tournament winners, overcoming the home side in the final. With Jamie Vardy and Harry Kane as strikers, England have one of the most threatening forward lines. This is something that could help their push in winning their first ever Euros.
Golden Boot:After finishing the 2015/16 English Premier League as the top-scorer, Harry Kane should be able to carry on his form to the Euros and win the Golden Boot. With assistance from the likes of Wayne Rooney, Jamie Vardy, and James Milner, Kane should be able to thrive on the service provided and help the Three Lions win the Euros.

France have been performing pretty average in their previous tournaments. They were eliminated in the quarter-finals to Germany in the 2014 Word Cup and suffered a similar fate in the 2012 Euros.
Being the hosts there is an anticipation that the French will go all the way and that this will finally be their tournament. Belgium have become a force to be reckoned with in recent years and have more experience in playing in a big tournament after the World Cup in 2014 but they will fall short to the French in the finals.
Croatia will be a dark horse and might reach the semis of the competition.
Golden Boot
If Belgium have to reach the finals there is only one man who can inspire them and that is Eden Hazard. Despite a poor season, the Chelsea man has rejuvenated himself in the last couple of months and will take that form into the tournament.

Euro 2016 promises to be a tournament for the ages with even the best teams having clear weaknesses while there are many teams who could potentially do very well, due to their very clear strengths
I expect hosts France, defending World Cup champions Germany, Italy and Portugal to make it to the semi-finals, with France and Germany going through to the final. Les Bleus have a tightly knit, young squad, full of power and pace, and will be looking to play on the counter to suit the talents of Antoine Griezmann, Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba.
As hosts, France have won both the World Cup and the Euros before, and I expect them to go ahead and clinch Euro 2016 as well.
Golden Boot
This should be a close fight between Antoine Griezmann and Cristiano Ronaldo, with both France and Portugal clubbed with not so tough teams in the group stages. Both of them had great scoring seasons, with Ronaldo scoring 51 and Griezmann going for 32. I believe the Frenchman will eventually come out on top, taking home the Golden Boot.
