Portugal have a brilliant attacking side

As far as attacking flair at Euro 2020 is concerned, Portugal are well and truly blessed. With Cristiano Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes in their ranks, the Iberian giants are capable of swatting European defences aside and can potentially emerge as favourites to win the tournament.

Portugal are the reigning Euro champions and will want to replicate their astonishing 2016 campaign this summer. While the Iberian giants have always enjoyed the luxury of fielding a star-studded attack, their defence and midfield are also stacked with options this year and provide Fernando Santos' side with a distinct cutting edge.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been a prolific goalscorer for Portugal and his form will be key to the team's success. Renato Sanches and Ruben Dias have also been excellent for their respective clubs this season and will now have to step up in their country's colours at Euro 2020.

Germany

Germany need to be at their best

Germany have experienced a difficult transitional period in recent years and have a massive point to prove at Euro 2020 this year. Die Mannschaft were humiliated at the 2018 World Cup and the subsequent inquisition has had a seemingly lasting impact on the team's fortunes.

Germany were humbled by Spain in the UEFA Nations League last year but have managed to revive their fortunes in recent months. Joachim Low has opted to bring some much-needed experience back into his squad and has consequently managed to bring the best out of his prodigious youngsters ahead of Euro 2020.

With France and Portugal in the mix, Germany will find it difficult to secure a top-two finish in Group F. The third-placed teams will participate in playoffs this year, however, and Die Mannschaft should be able to make it to the next round.

Hungary

Hungary cannot afford to put a foot wrong

With three European behemoths in their group, Hungary face a daunting challenge at Euro 2020. The Magyars can pack a punch on their day but will need a miracle to secure qualification from a group that features some of the best players on the continent.

That being said, Hungary are perfectly capable of pulling off a series of upsets and have some impressive players in their squad. Adam Szalai can be a lethal goalscorer on his day and will have to be at his prolific best as Hungary look to make the impossible happen this year.

Hungary have a rich footballing legacy but have not made much of an impact on international tournaments since the turn of the century. If Marco Rossi is able to pull a rabbit out of his hat and take Hungary into the knock-outs, a match against the Magyars could potentially turn into slippery ground.
