England Player Ratings against Ukraine
Jordan Pickford - 7/10
The England custodian made one good save in each half to deny Ukraine and registered a deserved clean sheet.
Kyle Walker - 6/10
He's been good at Euro 2020, but against Ukraine, Walker was uncharacteristically sloppy. At one point, he allowed Yaremchuk to get in behind the England defence.
John Stones - 6.5/10
Yaremchuk caused a lot of problems early on, but Stones held firm. Stones made two clearances in the game and completed 95% of his passes.
Harry Maguire - 7/10
Maguire was not tested much, so he confidently drove forward and also headed in a goal.
Luke Shaw - 7/10
A revelation on the left flank, Shaw timed his runs to perfection and laid out several good crosses, including setting up Kane's second and Maguire.
Kalvin Phillips - 6/10
England's player of the tournament, Phillips continued to be tidy in possession and hard-working off it. He made one key pass against Ukraine.
Declan Rice - 7/10
He very nearly found the net with a superb curling effort. That was the only downside in an otherwise good performance, which saw Rice dictate England's tempo and provide stout cover for the back four.
Jadon Sancho - 7/10
He linked up well with Sterling and Shaw in the first half but faded after the break.
Mason Mount - 7/10
Mount made one good clearance in the first half but then made a real contribution at the other end with an assist for Henderson.
Raheem Sterling - 7.5/10
There were no goals for Sterling on the night, but he didn't have a poor game by any stretch of imagination. He put Kane on his way to score England's opener with a fine delivery and bamboozled the Ukraine defence with his movements.
Harry Kane - 8/10
The England captain built on his goal against Germany with a clinical brace aganst Ukraine. Only a fingertip save from Bushchan prevented him from registering a hat-trick.
Ratings of England substitutes
Jordan Henderson - 7/10
Jordan Henderson produced a fine header to score his first England goal in his 62nd appearance, helping his team win 4-0.
Kieran Trippier - 6/10
He slotted in straight at left-back after coming on, but there was nothing special from him on the night.
Jude Bellingham - 6/10
Another appearance off the bench for England's youngest player, whose calmness and composure belies his tender years.
Marcus Rashford - 5/10
His search for a first goal at Euro 2020 continued, as Rashford couldn't conjure anything meaningful in his limited time on the pitch.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin - 5/10
The Everton man came back into the team after being left out against Germany. But he mustered only two passes in 17 minutes and did not attempt a single effort on goal all night.
