#3 Juventus
Let’s focus on a team that’s on nearly everybody’s lips now that Cristiano Ronaldo is on their roster; Juventus. The Serie A giants are unbeaten in 7 domestic league fixtures and they are yet to drop any points. So, we can say that this far, Juventus are in fine form.
The defending champions kicked off the league away to Chievo Verona in a very interesting match. First, it was Cristiano Ronaldo’s debut Serie A game and the football world was watching to see how he’d fair in Italy having left the Spanish giants Real Madrid over the summer.
Second, Chievo Verona really battled and the game almost ended as a 2-2 draw. Having missed so many scoring chances, Juventus got the winning edge when Federico Bernardeschi scored in extra time to ensure all the three points were going back home. Since then, Juventus have defeated all their opponents including fierce rivals Lazio. They are also the team to beat defensively.
Saturday's fixture against Napoli seemed a difficult one on paper as the top two clubs were set to lock horns at Juventus Stadium. However, that wasn't the case as the home team won 3-1 to ensure their perfect start to the season was maintained. The win saw Juventus open a 6-point lead over second-placed Napoli.
