The 2019 Copa America is all set for kickoff on the 14th of June and will go on for three weeks till the 7th of July. The finals will be held at the famous Maracana stadium in Rio de Janeiro. There will be 12 national teams categorized into three groups, competing in this year’s tournament.

It was a tournament to forget for the likes of Brazil and Uruguay, two heavyweights who bowed out in the group stage. Uruguay were outplayed in their first match against Mexico. But the surprise of the tournament came when world number 77 Venezuela would defeat world number 9 Uruguay. Uruguay however ended their tournament on a good note with a victory against Jamaica.
