19-year old Uruguay midfielder, Sebastian Cristoforo has confirmed that he will sign for La Liga club Sevilla F.C. Cristoforo previously used to play for Uruguayan club Penarol as a central midfielder.
Cristoforo represented his country in the U20 World Cup 2013. He has played 7 matches, did not score any goal but had one assist.
Sevilla reportedly offered $3 million for the player. The Sevilla manager, Unai Emery said that he is “a player we have been following” and is someone who “fits the profile” of what they have been looking for.
He was quite impressive during his stint in Uruguay at Penarol. Now he is looking forward to play in a more competitive Spanish La Liga.
