Manchester United is one of the top teams in Europe. Though losing out on their ‘Noisy Neighbours’ in the title race in 2011/12 on goal difference, they have still managed to win an unprecedented 20th league title. Some of their basic problems are lack of creativity in midfield, out of form wingers, etc. Here are some deals that could help Man Utd to bring back the European glory.
INs
Thiago Alcantara
A rather useful under-21 Spaniard and Barcá player, Thiago came into the news after wearing the armband for Spain and leading them in the playoffs of the current Under-21 European Championship. He would be rather useful to solve United’s midfield problems and he could be played as an attacking midfielder if David Moyes chooses to play United with a 4-2-3-1 formation. He could provide for the main striker (RVP/Hernandez/Rooney) and can also have a pop at goal whenever he wants.

Currently linked with Madrid as a replacement for Ronaldo, Bale could be a great buy for United as he could solve United’s problem on the wings. Rumours have connected Ronaldo with United, but I believe that Bale would be a better signing as he is currently 23, so he could serve United for a longer time. And United have already shown that they could transform good players into amazing players, so they could also transform Bale into a great player.

Robert Lewendowski
The Polish international, who had a great season with Borussia Dortmund, scored 4 goals against Real Madrid, and is currently on the radar of big clubs like Bayern Munich. But as Dortmund have not allowed him to join Munich, the gates have opened for other clubs like United. He used to have a deadly combination with Kagawa once, and if United could utilise that combination again, it would be great for them.

OUTs
This hasn’t been one of his greatest of the seasons for United, being haunted by a few injuries. Plus, he has made his second transfer request in three years. In a report by Mirror, it appears almost certain that the 27-year old may leave this summer. Reportedly, Ferguson dropped him for the most important games of the season, like the decisive second leg against Real Madrid. He also hasn’t been happy for playing in his position right behind the striker. So, it would be better for him to leave rather than stay unhappy at United.

Nani
The winger hasn’t performed well this season. He has made only 11 appearances this season for United in the Premier League, with only one goal and three assists. So selling him would be the best option for United.
