Venezuela vs Canada Head-to-Head Stats and numbers you need to know before Match 26 of the 2024 Copa America

Jamaica v Venezuela - CONMEBOL Copa America USA 2024
Venezuela face Canada on Friday

Venezuela and Canada will square off at the AT&T Stadium in a 2024 Copa America quarterfinal tie on Friday. The Venezuelans booked their spot in the last eight courtesy of their top-spot finish in Group B.

They finalized their group stage fixture with a 3-0 victory over Jamaica. Eduard Bello, Salomon Rondon and Eric Ramirez scored second-half goals to guide La Vinotinto to victory. The win saw them claim maximum points from three games in Group B.

Canada, meanwhile, ended their group stage with a goalless draw against Chile over the weekend.

The draw saw Les Rouges advance to the last eight as runners-up in Group A, having garnered four points from three games.

Few gave the Venezuelans high chances of getting to this stage but they were one of three sides to progress with a 100% record in the group stage. Canada were less impressive but did enough to advance to the knockout rounds.

The winner of this tie will face either Argentina or Ecuador in the semifinal.
