2015/2016 season was in many ways one of the most exciting years in recent football history. There were some amazing goals scored from some insane angles. It was a crazy season of football overall.
Leicester City created quite possibly the biggest upset in football history when they made a mockery of the odds to lift the Premier League title. Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez were extremely instrumental in their astonishing achievement and it is no surprise that their goals feature on this list.
Spanish giants Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid all had solid seasons with Barcelona claiming the domestic double while Real Madrid won the Champions League. Atletico Madrid were superb throughout the season but they were unlucky to fall just short in the Champions League final and finish third in La Liga.
Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Luis Suarez, Neymar, Andres Iniesta, Antoine Griezmann all feature in this video with my personal favourite being Saul’s effort in the Champions League semi-final against Bayern Munich.

Bayern Munich and Juventus had typically dominant seasons in the Bundesliga and Serie A with Robert Lewandowski and Paulo Dybala scoring some absolute screamers. Oh, of course, Paul Pogba also features in this video reminding us why Manchester United went out and spent so much money to obtain his services.
Forget the stars and their goals, there were some absolutely insane goals scored by some lesser known players as well. Who can forget Florenzi’s goal in the Champions League against Barcelona or Mikel San Jose’s 50-yard screamer for Athletic Bilbao?

While the 10 nominated goals for the Puskas award such as Messi’s brilliant free-kick or Neymar’s superb skills obviously make it to this video, there are plenty of other goals which are just as good or even better which you can catch in this video.
ADO den Haag's goalkeeper Marin Hansen quite possibly scored one of the best goals ever when he brilliantly backheeled a volley into the net in the dying minutes of the game to rescue the Dutch side and give them a point.
Sit back, enjoy and watch the 100 greatest goals in the 2015/16 season.
