It’s all filled with positivity in the Arsenal camp who are finally looking to be serious title contenders this season. The Gunners are flying at the moment and their players are full of confidence following their back-to-back victories over Manchester United and Watford in the Premier League followed up by last night’s win over Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez is partly responsible for reviving the optimism around the Emirates Stadium, having scored 10 goals in his last six games for club and country. So when BT Sport asked Sanchez to battle it out with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Mesut Ozil in their Beat the Bin challenge you would back the Chilean to nail it.
But no, you’re wrong. Turns out, Mesut Ozil was the only player to have landed the ball inside the bin. We all know that the German international is one of the best passers in the game and undoubtedly among the top creative players in world football as well.
In this video, the Arsenal playmaker has shown off his ability at kicking a ball into a bin. He was one of the few Gunners to try the ‘beat the bin’ challenge. Other players included Sanchez, Cazorla and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain who both failed miserably.
Is it a touch of class? Or is it just a silly another silly game? When Ozil’s concerned, any opportunity to display his amazing accuracy must be treasured. All the Arsenal players are loving life right now. The only member of the squad struggling is manager Arsene Wenger who still can’t seem to zip up his jacket properly.
