This new Europcar commercial feature Arsenal players Per Mertesacker, Jack Wilshere and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and their ‘relatives’. More than a commercial, Europcar says it is a ‘mockumentary’ where we get to see ‘close relatives’ of the three Gunners.

For example, Trudy Mertesacker is a baker who looked out for her brother Per.

Kenneth Wilshere is Jack Wlshere’s uncle who thinks he should have been a footballer but became a plumber instead.

Darren Oxlade-Chamberlain is a ‘plane-spotter’ and also Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain’s cousin.

But are they the players’ actual relatives? Taking a closer look at their faces, they seem to have a striking resemblance to the actual footballers.
