Video: Barcelona players star in new Qatar Airways commerical

Suarez and Messi along with Neymar, Pique and Iniesta appear in this commercial

Barcelona’s Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Neymar, Andres Iniesta and Gerard Pique star in this new Qatar Airways commercial which is both entertaining and a little weird at the same time. It is a commercial which features the football stars on holiday across various destinations in the world.

While Luis ‘El Pistolero’ Suarez is a cowboy in the wild west in Dallas, Neymar enjoys himself on a sunny beach while Messi takes on a few ninjas in Japan. Meanwhile, Pique and Iniesta have some fun in Paris with a bunch of mimes.

With the Beach Boys’ ‘I Get Around’ playing in the background, this is a commercial to show the various destinations the airline (also Barcelona’s kit sponsor) flies to.

The commercial is perhaps a little cliched. Although a little funny in parts, it comes nowhere close to the first commercial which also featured the likes of Carles Puyol and Gary Lineker.
