How many times have we seen strikers hanging behind after a failed attack so that they can try and steal the ball from the goalkeeper? Well, Takashi Usami just did the same, in the process showing everyone how it should be done.
Usami is the top scorer in the J-League with 8 goals and this demonstration of anticipation, instinct and cheeky poaching skills proves why he is leading the goalscorers in the league.
He waited for the goalkeeper to collect the ball and look to find a pass, and then tiptoed as soon as the ball was on the ground, before rounding the keeper to finish with aplomb.
