Manchester City were handed a 4-2 loss by Manchester United on Sunday

A pretty shocking footage captured on camera shows Manchester City fans chanting about the Munich Air Disaster after the 4-2 loss against Manchester United on Sunday. The footage shows a large group of fans chanting a song that had several references to the tragic event that saw the death of several United players.

The Munich Air Disaster took place in 1958 at the Munich-Riem Airport where a British European Airways flight holding 44 people crashed while trying to take off. The Manchester United team returning to England following a European Cup match against Red Star Belgrade were among the passengers.

Of the 23 people who met their demise that day, 20 of them died at the scene while three more succumbed to death in the hospital. There were a number of United players among the dead.
