Eden Hazard has had an excellent season for Chelsea in 2014-15. Though initially overshadowed by new signings Fabregas and Diego Costa, he has reached the levels he got us so used to last seaon when most people put him on a pedestal just below Messi and Ronaldo. He is the most succesful dribbler in Europe this season with an average of 5.1 dribbles per game. The player though is not impressed with his performances for his national side.
“I have not seen it [the same level] yet!” Hazard told Sport/Foot. “Maybe for a few games but not regularly. It annoys me. Why can I play super at Chelsea and not for Belgium? My matches are honest and I don’t want people to think I come to the national team as a waster.” said the 23-year-old. Club teammate Cesc Fabregas has spoken highly of him.
“He is our Messi,” said Fabregas . “He is our link between defence and attack.”
