Edinson Cavani scored a late winner to ensure that Paris Saint-Germain remain on top of the Group F against APOEL Nicosia. The goal was display of the forward's pace, power, strength and dtermination but it was the celebration afterwards that caught the most attention.
The Uruguayan forward had been booked for his trademark gun-totting celebration on the weekend in a Ligue 1 match against Lens and was given a straight red card seconds later after he touched the referee’s arm to enquire about the yellow card.
On a night when 40 goals were scored on a single night of Champions League football, Shakhtar forward Luiz Adriano scored 5 and Bayern put 7 past AS Roma.
