The match between Ajax and Feyenoord was a very well-fought encounter, that ended in a stalemate. However, one incident in the game did get a lot of attention, when Feyenoord forward Colin Kazim-Richards bumped Ajax goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen into the goal, but got in the way of the ball instead, thus preventing it from going in.
Feyenoord’s Toonstra got his cross in from the right, which Boetius got a head to, but his header that was going into the goal hit Kazim-Richards and stayed out.
The Turk Kazim-Richards had pushed Cillessen out of the way and into the goal, and it seemed that Feyenoord would take advantage of the situation and get the break they needed.
What was clearly a foul from the forward turned into something hilarious, when he couldn’t get out of the way of the ball, and inadvertently pushed it away from the goal. The Ajax players and fans would probably be thinking justice was served, especially Cillessen.
