As Times Now reports, the world football governing body FIFA has urged India to urgently upgrade the stadiums in the country, if the country hopes to host a successful 2017 FIFA Under-17 World Cup.
FIFA’s warning is well placed considering the gross delays and corruption in the lead up to the 2010 Commonwealth Games.
