Sebastian Giovinco tries to distract keeper by pointing towards the other side

It’s the eye that you can fool if you are to fool a human. That is perhaps what Toronto FC’s Sebastian Giovinco was looking for before successfully converting a free-kick during his side’s 3-2 defeat to MLS side Dallas FC.

The former Juventus striker pretended to point towards his teammates, appearing distracted just moments before he took the shot, thus distracting keeper Chris Seitz in the process. But, with the fashion that Giovinco was successful in putting the ball into the net, it was evident that the six-man wall had no say whatsoever, with or without the distraction.

Despite Giovinco’s two late minute strikes in the final 10 minutes of the match, Toronto succumbed to their fourth loss in a row.
