Hertha Berlin manager Jos Luhukay discusses the Bundesliga newboys chances ahead of their opening game of the season against Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday.
Jos Luhukay, Hertha BSC coach:“From Saturday onwards, it will be important that we become accustomed to the Bundesliga quickly. Hopefully we will have a successful match against Eintracht Frankfurt. We wanted to start with a home match, and the fixtures made it possible, so now I hope that we get our first three points here in Berlin. I am hoping for a fantastic atmosphere here on Saturday.”

We didn’t have millions for transfers at our disposal and it will be the same over the next few years. We cannot afford to pay large and above-average salaries. In the transfer market, we had to pay a transfer fee for one player, the other three came without a transfer fee. This is the reality, and it is the reality that we want to achieve the absolute maximum with this quality, and to push for success.”
