Video: Hulk's shot in training sends goalkeeper "flying through back of the net"

Hulk is well known for his power and strength

Zenit St Petersburg forward Hulk lived up to his name as he demonstrated his power during a training session with the club. The club released a video in which Givanildo Vieira de Sousa better known as Hulk is dribbling past a few defenders before sending a fierce shot at the goalkeeper.

What happens next is incredible as the goalkeeper flies through the net and falls on the other side of the goal. After the shot, Hulk enquires whether the goalkeeper is fine and apologizes to him before celebrating by saying ‘goal’.

We all know about Hulk’s strength, but to send a goalkeeper through the net is something out of the ordinary and could very well be a staged one. Maybe, the club just wants to showcase the midfielder’s brute strength to send a message to the rival goalkeepers to watch out.

We sure hope that in any case, the goalkeeper is safe and out of danger.
