Shocking misses can happen to anyone at any time, but Dinamo Zagreb forward Ilija Sivonjic provides one of the most amusing misses when he appears to trap the ball on the line against HNK Cibalia in the Croatian Prva HNL league.
He missed the goal from a distance of 7.5cm (around 3 inches) as the match ended in a draw. The video of the miss has already spread far and wide and The Sun is calling it “a contender for miss of the century,” but there are quite a few in the mix for that crown.
