Nemanja Matic was Chelsea’s best performance during their away 1-2 win over Liverpool at Anfield.

During his post-match interview, he was joined by captain John Terry who praised the Serbian’s inspiring pre-match team-talk stating, "It was very inspiring!"

"Everyone takes their turn before the game and he did very well today,” he added. "He's been different class since he came back [from Benfica] and he's a real player for the team. He's been at the heart of some great team performances.”

Head coach Jose Mourinho now has his players deliver pre-match team-talks in the dressing room, and it was Matic’s turn on Saturday.

"We never looked like losing the game which has been our key this season," the skipper added.
