Video: Jose Mourinho hits out at Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas

Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho hits out at Andre Villas-Boas for revealing their personal and professional relationship has broken down on the eve of their sides encounter in the English Premier League.

Mourinho does believe Villas-Boas’s Tottenham have a title chance though and says they have improved their squad since last season.

(on relationship with Villas Boas) Jose Mourinho said: “I don’t describe because I am not a kid to discuss relationships with the media. I think it is a personal thing and I am not a kid to discuss this at all. I don’t care what he says. I am here – not to comment on what he says and not to know what he says. I am not interested.”

(on Spurs being title rivals) Jose Mourinho said: “The way I have to describe and not be criticised for that because it is part of my job I just analyse opponents, and when I analyse Tottenham as an opponent, I think they have a much better squad now than they had the season before. Nobody can criticise me for that opinion – it is a consequence of my professional analysis. But I think they have a much better squad – and because you win titles with squads. You don’t win titles with an especially good player. I think they are much more contenders than they were before.”
