Manchester United‘s squad flew into Stockholm’s Arlanda Airport on Monday ahead of their friendly match against local Swedish side AIK.
Speculation continues to suround the future of Wayne Rooney, as Man Utd turn have reportedly turned down a fresh approach from Chelsea for the England striker.
United say the 27-year-old Rooney picked up a shoulder injury during a behind-closed-doors match against Spain’s Real Betis on Saturday.
And rumours persist regarding former Arsenal captain, Cesc Fabregas.
New manager David Moyes is considering making a 3rd bid for the player, who signed for Barcelona in 2011. Cesc had previously become Arsenal’s youngest player aged 16 years and 177 days against Rotherham United in League Cup in October 2003
Meanwhile, centre-back Nemanja Vidic is back to skipper David Moyes’ side after missing the first leg of the 2013 tour.
