Manchester United youngster Adnan Januzaj is revelling in making a ‘big difference’ at the club this season.
The 18-year-old played a starring role in United’s 2-0 win over Swansea City at Old Trafford at the weekend and played a part in both goals.
Speaking afterwards, in his first-post match interview on English soil, Januzaj said: “It’s a big difference. We had the three points. The team won so I think we all did well, so I hope we keep going.”
Januzaj is an exciting talent and is already well-known for his dribbling ability, so when asked about whether or not he plays with fear, he answered: “Not really, I just play my game and try to do my best.”
Darren Fletcher has just returned to the side after a long absence through illness and looks likely to be a key figure in United’s midfield for the rest of the season and he spoke of Januzaj’s impact since bursting onto the scene earlier this season.
Asked if his young teammate made the difference, the Scot said: “He did, yeah. He’s a young lad but he’s come into the team and he’s been a revelation this season and just going out to the left, we knew the right-back was on a yellow card so we know how good he is at dribbling and making things happen, so we wanted to get the ball to him as much as we can. I think we did that and he didn’t disappoint.”
