FIFA World Cup winners Germany registered a comfortable 4-0 win over minnows Gibraltar in their Euro 2016 qualifier with a brace from Thomas Mueller, one from Mario Goetze and an own goal from Yogan Santos.
Germany goalkeeper Manuel Neuer was hardly tested throughout the match and was seen almost playing close to the central half-line of the pitch. The Bayern Munich keeper is known for his outrageous and brave runs and dribbles, but he was finally put to a test following a brilliant shot from Gibraltar midfielder Liam Walker.
Walker, who was left unmarked by any of the German defenders, started a great attacking run after receiving the ball from a long-throw, and managed to get a great shot on target which would have been a goal under any different circumstances, but not with Neuer guarding the net.
The 28-year-goalkeeper made a quick run back from the midfield area to make a stunning save to deny Walker of his goal.
