It wasn’t like this was the first time Manuel Neuer had pulled off a Cruyff Turn during a match, and by the looks of it, it won’t be the last. The German keeper is notoriously known his reckless but brave outlook towards the game, as he is often seen roaming out of his zonal area on many occasions.
It was the 83rd minute during Bayern Munich’s 1-0 win over Hertha Berlin at the Allianz Arena when the 29-year-old keeper received a back pass from teammate Dante as he pulled off a Cryuff turn to deceive the oncoming striker. All of this when they were leading just by a goal, and it was six minutes to full time.
Takes quite the courage for that!
