Chelsea's Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah scored a brilliant goal in the African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Tunisia. It was not enough though as the visitors lost 1-2 to be standed 3rd on the Group G table. Egypt finished the group with only 6 points from six games while Tunisia and Senegal lead the table with 14 and 13 points respectively.
Salah, nicknamed “The Egyptian Messi” signed for Chelsea in January 2014 from Basel but has failed to keep a regular place in the starting XI. The player had run into some issues with his goverment which threatened to derail his football career. Despite resolution of the issue, it is likely that the player might leave the club for regular football elsewhere in the January transfer window.
