Juventus knocked out defending champions Real Madrid 3-2 on aggregate and moved to the final of the 2015 UEFA Champions League. An intense match saw them draw 1-1 with Real, but the game saw a hilarious moment when Patrice Evra was involved in an exchange with a ballboy, who refused to return the ball to him.
The moment came when the Italian Champions were trying to force the pace to try and equalise after Ronaldo’s opener. The ball went out for a corner near the far side, and Evra rushed to try and get the ball back quickly so that the Bianconeri could take a corner. However, the ballboy refused to give him the ball back, instead choosing to hide it from him as the Frenchman tried on multiple occasions to get it back.
Someone should have told the ballboy that the first half is too early to start wasting time, as was clearly seen when Juventus equalised in the second half. However, the whole sequence of events was entertaining, and it was good that Evra didn’t react to the ballboy’s actions (unlike a certain Eden Hazard!)
