Video: Pele's 'most beautiful goal' against Juventus in 1959 recreated

Pele, widely regarded by some as the greatest player of all time has many achievements to his name. Having scored over a thousand goals in his career, it is difficult to pin point which one is his best beecause there’s very little footage available.

As the story goes, when the man nicknamed ‘Black Pearl’ was just 18 he scored a brilliant goal for Santos against Brazilian rivals Atletico Juventus in 1959.

The only problem is that it is all hearsay and the goal was never really recorded. Regarded as the “most beautiful goal“ the three-time-World Cup winner scored, it was recreated using simulation with feedback taken from people who watched it and the player himself.

Apparently, the goal was so good he got a statue for it.
