Video: Pepe takes down his own goalkeeper Keylor Navas

Real Madrid defender Pepe tackled his team-mate and goalkeeper Keylor Navas which removed any possibility of saving Alberto Bueno’s strike during Real Madrid’s 5-1 victory over Rayo Vallecano.

The goal came after a misplaced backpass from James Rodriguez which was picked up by the Rayo attackers ahead of Navas and they converted the chance presented to them. Pepe tried to block the open space in front of the net, but his slide took out Navas from the equation leaving Bueno to slot the ball comfortably into an unguarded net.
