There have been multiple header challenges that we’ve seen, for example, the one done by the Chelsea players last season. This, however, is probably the most amazing head-tennis/ header challenges that have been done in the recent past as players of St. Johnstone completed a crazy routine of 49-consecutive headers before heading the ball into the bin.
The entire team worked together in the dressing room, with one player standing and acting as the facilitator. He started the whole sequence, heading it to the first teammate, who then headed it back to him. The next header was to the teammate sitting next in sequence, and the process was repeated till the last player in the dressing room headed it back.
Then, the entire process was repeated, this time starting from the last player, going in the same way, finally ending with the ball back on the head of the player facilitating the whole header challenge, who then headed it into the dustbin.
And yes, this whole sequence saw 49 consecutive headers taken before the ball was put into the bin.
