Real Madrid beat fellow Spanish side Granada by a narrow 1-0 margin to continue their unbeaten start to the new season.
A buoyant Madrid side took the lead at Los Cármenes in the tenth minute courtesy of a well slotted goal by France striker Karim Benzema. The home side did come up with a couple of chances themselves, but it just wasn’t their day.
