Robert Lewandowski led Bayern Munich to a convincing 3-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt as he grabbed his 15th and 16th goal of the season. However, it was his opening goal in the 15th minute that stood out as the best strike of the night.
The former Borussia Dortmund striker slotted the ball past Frankfurt goalkeeper Kevin Trapp after flicking it over a defender’s head before capping the move with a stunning volley straight into the corner of the net.
With his brace, Lewandowski now stands as the third highest goalscorer in the German first division with Frankfurt's Alexander Meier and teammate Arjen Robeen taking up the first two spots.
