Brazilian star Ronaldinho is known for making the ball do whatever he wants them to. He controls the ball like a puppeteer controls a puppet. However, playing for Queretaro in a match against Morelia, the Brazilian magician embarrassed himself as he went down without being touched in comical fashion.
Diving is an “art” which, till recent times, was never associated with players from the South American country. However, Neymar has become infamous for going down very easily nowadays and now former Barcelona player Ronaldinho showcased his “skills”.
Coming on as a substitute, Ronaldinho helped his club beat Morelia by scoring the opening goal from the penalty spot. However, he would be remembered for doing something different in the match.
Carrying the ball from his own half, he came face to face with a defender near the halfway line. The 35-year-old pushed the ball beyond his marker and fell down theatrically despite the opponent being a good couple of yards away from him.
The referee, rightfully, gave Ronaldinho a yellow card for his hilarious dive. It is safe to say, Ronaldinho is some way away from “mastering” this skill.
