Cristiano Ronaldo teases Marcelo after embarrassing him with a nutmeg

The chemistry between Cristiano Ronaldo and his Real Madrid teammate Marcelo is as impeccable off the pitch as it is on the pitch. Real Madrid visit their city rivals Atletico Madrid on Tuesday for the first leg of the Champions League, and during one of the team training sessions ahead of the match, the duo were recorded on camera sharing a light-hearted moment.

Marcelo was humiliated by Luka Modric with a cheeky nutmeg, leaving the Brazilian defender embarrassed as his teammates laughed. However, Ronaldo being a true friend that he is, had to rub it in into Marcelo’s face as he tried kissing the latter on the cheek.

Despite their recent improvement in form, Real Madrid go into the first leg slightly as underdogs as they have failed to win a single match in the last six derbies. However, with the return of Luka Modric and James Rodriguez, Carlo Ancelotti’s men look more confident this time.
