Gone are the Tony Pulis days where they bullied their way to bundle the ball into the back of the net. Since last season, under Mark Hughes, they have slowly changed their style of play and have become a better footballing unit with majority of their passes along the ground than long balls hoofed to their forwards.
And against Real Betis, this style was on on display as the Potters scored a beautiful goal with some brilliant one touch passing.
