In the Championship fixture against Blackburn Rovers on 26th February, Leicester goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel made a brilliant save to keep level the scores. Leicester went on to win the game 3-0.
Morten Gamst Pedersen, who is famous for his long shots, took his chance outside the box and the ball hit a player and deflected towards the goal. But still, Schmeichel made a stupendous flying save with one hand.
Manager Nigel Pearson said after the match, “It was a fantastic save at a key time… He was going the wrong way but showed a lot of agility and reactions. It was a fantastic save.”
