Cristiano Ronaldo opened his doors for Unscriptd, allowing his fans to take an intimate look at the Portuguese superstar’s state-of-the-art house. The Real Madrid striker gave a guided tour of his villa in La Finca, on the outskirts on Madrid, ending with a Christmas greeting for his fans.
Allowing cameras into his house for the first time, Ronaldo revealed how incredibly tailored to his needs and tastes his house is, focussing on his bed, where he spends ‘half his day’. He also paid tribute to his chefs, crediting them for ‘looking the way I do’. The Portuguese star also has a large nativity scene in his grounds, complete with a gigantic Christmas tree and took the opportunity to wish his fans a Merry Christmas.
The one-storey villa, whose estimated worth is 7.2 million dollars, boasts of seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a trophy room and kid’s playrooms. Ronaldo can afford such extravagance, as he is estimated to have a net worth of $230 million and annual earnings of $79.6 million, more than some of the clubs he plays against in La Liga.
Earlier, in a talk at the Stanford School of Business, Sir Alex Ferguson had revealed details about Ronaldo’s mansion, asserting that the Potuguese star has a house that is ‘tailor-made for the best football player on the planet’.
"I've never known anyone like him, honestly," he told students.
"The gym is about half the size of this [pointing to the Stanford School of Business lecture hall], he's got everything in it.”
"He's got two pools; a hot pool and a cold pool. He's got an ice room at minus 160 degrees where he goes in for 10 minutes after every game. It's just unbelievable."
Sir Alex Ferguson’s revelations aren’t surprising, he’s always maintained how unbelievably focused and exacting Ronaldo is when it comes to his lifestyle around football.
Given the Portuguese star’s intense battle of one-upmanship with Lionel Messi, perhaps it’s only a matter of time before another video of a Barcelona mansion makes its way onto the internet.
