Video: Top five goals of the week

Some good games were played this gameweek, and there were some good goals too. Real Madrid vs Manchester United was the highlight, with even Jose Mourinho saying: “It’s the game the world has been waiting for.”

5. Gareth Bale vs Newcastle United

Bale has been in tremendous form this season, and is attracting interest from overseas. Here’s one of the two goals that he scored against Newcastle United.

4. Mandzukic vs. WolfsburgThe Croatian international, who plays as a striker for FC Bayern Munich, scored an absolute stunner of an overhead-kick goal against Wolfsburg. The game ended 2-0, with Robben coming of the bench late in the game to score the second goal.

3. Lionel Messi vs. Granada

Messi scored his 300th and 301st career goals for Barcelona in this game. Here’s one of the goals.

2. Totti vs. Juventus

AS Roma went on to win their first win of 2013 courtesy of a Totti goal in the 58th min. Roma ended a run of six Serie A matches without a win via this 25-yard shot that was the only goal in the match.

1. Cristiano Ronaldo vs. Manchester United

The ex-Manchester United star jumped high above Evra to head the ball back into the net. And he showed respect to his former club by not celebrating the goal.

Jose Enrique vs. Swansea

Jose Enrique’s goal was a product of some superb build-up play and some skilled passing. Liverpool beat Swansea 5-0 in that match, with Jose Enrique bagging the man of the match award.

Kazim-Richards vs. Arsenal

Blackburn will be rejoicing this moment for years to come. Kazim-Richards scored the winner at the Emirates that put Blackburn in the next round of FA Cup, and made him responsible for yet another trophyless season for the Gunners.
