VIDEO: The trailer for 'Ronaldo' the movie is out

The three-time Ballon d’Or winner proclaims his own divinity in the trailer

The trailer for the Cristiano Ronaldo’s new movie titled ‘Ronaldo’ has been released on the internet and it shows his journey from a young boy to the superstar he has become today. The movie will be released later this year on the silver screen.

The movie has been filmed over a period of 14 months shows the period after the Portuguese captain won the Ballon d’Or for the third time. In the trailer, Ronaldo jokes that he will at least remain the best player in the world till January.

This is the first movie that has been fully authorized by the former Manchester United star and show his life both on and off the field. There are scenes of him just playing with his young son, who is nicknamed Cristianinho.

In the trailer, which is just over two minutes, Ronaldo says that he was made to be the best and that is how he lives his life. The poster of the movie was released on Twitter by the 30-year-old on the 25th of September on his official page.

The team behind the movie are the same ones who made a movie on the legendary F1 racer Ayrton Senna, titled Senna, who tragically lost his life in 1994.
