Barcelona scored a narrow 3-2 win over Valencia in La Liga. Lionel Messi grabbed a hat-trick in an extraordinary first half as Barcelona went 3-0 up in the 41st minute, before Valencia pulled two goals back before half time. The second half wasn’t quite as exciting, as neither team scored after the break.
