A new world record was set by Vietnam’s Nguyen Thi Tuyet Dung when she scored two direct goal from corners in a single match as Vietnam cruised to a comfortable 7-0 win against Malaysia in their second game of Group B of the 2015 AFF Women’s Championship on Monday.
Winner of Vietnamese 2014 Golden Ball in the female category, Tuyet Dung has definitely guaranteed her contention for the award second year in the running. What is more baffling than scoring two direct corner kick goals in a single match is that both of the goals came from two different sides of the field.
